Introduction

Ingredients

3 cups of White rice med or long grain
Can of Goya beans (or brand of choice)
2 tbsp of oil
about 2 tsp of adobo
1 packet of sazon goya (the one with culantro & achiote ) gives it a nice color
1 can of tomato sauce
1/4 cup of diced ham ( cooking ham better)
** this is optional for vegans)
2-3 olives with pimentos
Directions
In arice cooking pot put 2 cups of water, sazon, adobo, can of beans, ham, tomato sauce, oil and olives (sliced) to boil medium setting. Once the water (mix) heats up add the rice. Leave on that temp setting until the water dries up. Move the mixture all together really good and then cover and bring teh temperature down to low. Cook for another 20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
This recipe serves 8 people. It's good for family dinner with roated chicken or baked pork chops.
