Ingredients

    2 1tsp Safflower Oil
    1/2 Red Sweet Bell Pepper,raw
    1 cube Vegetable Bouillon, McCormick
    360 gram(s) Yam (sweet potato), raw (1 yam)
    150 gram(s) Tomato paste, Western Family, no salt added (1 can)
    400 grams Potato, Baby White (Raw)
    250 grams Large Raw Carrot
    425 gram(s) Eden butter beans, no salt added (1 can)
    408 grams Beef, top sirloin
    Black pepper
    Sage
    Bay leaves
    Thyme
    Sweet paprika
    4 cups water

Directions

Peel and chop the shallots. Fry them in the oil on medium heat until soft.
Remove fat and tendon from the meat and chop into cubes. Add to the shallots and fry, stirring, until browned on all sides.
Drain beans and rinse several times in cold water.
Wash and/or peel and prepare the vegetables. Chop everything. Boil the water. Dissolve stock cube in a little of the hot water.
Add everything to a large slow cooker and stir. Cook, stirring occasionally, on high for ~8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings (~1 cup)
