227 gram(s) Cooper Neufchatel Cheese 8oz Pkg - Serving 1 oz (28g/about 2 TBSP) 8 servings in package
120 gram(s) Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon - 1 slice (15g)
Directions
::INGREDIENTS::
8 jalapeño peppers, cleaned;
8 oz package of neufchâtel cheese (or Philadelphia 1/3 less fat cream cheese) equally portioned;
8 slices of turkey bacon.
::INSTRUCTIONS::
1. Preheat oven to 375F (170C)
2. Carefully slice peppers and remove seeds if needed
3. Stuff each pepper with one portion of neufchâtel cheese or 1/3 less fat cream cheese
4. Wrap one slice of bacon around each pepper and secure with a toothpick
5. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, check and turn if needed, and bake for 25-45 more minutes until peppers are softened and bacon is crisped.
Tip: cook raised on a rack inside a foil pan, tastes better if barbecued on the grill and the bacon is very crispy.
