Ingredients

* 2-cups chickpeas
* 1/2-cup pureed chickpeas
* 1-cup chopped tomatoes
* 1-small onion, chopped
* 1/8-tsp cumin
* 1/8-tsp mustard seeds
* 1-1/2 tsp masala powder
* 1/4-tsp salt
* 1/4-tsp red chili powder
* 1/8-tsp tumeric
* 1-cup water
Directions
(1) Heat ghee in a large pot over medium heat.
(2) Add and toast the cumin and mustard seeds.
(3) When seeds start to pop, add the onion, and cook until translucent.
(4) Add the tomatoes and cook on high heat until the tomatoes turn to soft. Press with a spatula and mush them.
(5) To this tomato sauce, add the whole chickpeas, pureed chickpea paste, masala powder, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and water. Stir to combine.
(6) Keep the heat on medium and cook for about 20 to 30 minutes, until the curry is thickened.
