Introduction

This recipe is a sure hit. I used Extra Lean Ground Turkey in place of chicken as used in the actual restaurant's version. The Sweet Chili Sauce gives it a little zip and some heat and can actually be omitted if you choose not to have the spice. It does give this dish that bit of sweetness as the original dish has but the hoison sauce sure is all you really need with that little bit of white rice vinegar for a true flavor I am sure you will enjoy. 2 serving Dynasty Sliced Water Chestnut (1/2 cup drained = 1 serving)
6 tbsp hoison sauce (by WBLANCHER)
2 tbsp Frank's Red Hot Sweet Chili Sauce (by SOOTHINGGLOW)

    1 1tsp Sesame Oil
    1 tbsp Kikkoman Soy Sauce

Tips

BONUS TIP:
To prepare your lettuce leaves you take a head of iceberg lettuce. Cut around, and remove the core. Allow to sit in a large bowl of cold water. Allowing the water to seep into the head where the core once was you will see how easily the leaves are removed from the outside in. No tearing of the leaves and "leaves" you with nice firm leaves for serving with our filling. Also great for making taco wraps, or sandwich and other wraps where you would replace a shell or bread with lettuce. Also works with cabbage.

Directions

Cut up your mushroom, water chestnuts, and scallions. Mince your garlic.

In a wok or deep walled pan add in a tsp of sesame oil andd heat over a medium heat.

Add in your fresh minced garlic, and saute until browned and fragrant.

Add in your Extra Lean Ground Turkey (you can use chicken cut up or ground chicken or even Turkey filets cut up, but be sure to alter the recipe to accommodate for the calorie difference). Cook until you don't see much pink "Raw" meat.

Add in the chopped up Mushroom and chopped up scallions. Mix all together and cook so the flavors can combine.

I like to make my sauce in a separate bowl and taste it to be sure I like it before adding to my pan with the rest of my ingredients. However if you stick to the recipe you can't go wrong, it surely is delicious and true to the restaurant version IMHO.

Add your sauce and mix together well. Remove from heat and serve with Lettuce leaves.
