    2 cup Split Peas
    4 cup Cured Ham
    2 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
    3 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw
    2 cup (8 fl oz) Chicken Broth
    5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap


Put the onions on the bottom, peas next, then the rest of the veggies, and then the ham on the top.


Put all ingredients into a slow cooker and cook for 8 hours on low setting.

Serving Size: Makes 8 1.5 c servings
