Ingredients

    2 cup Beans, black
    2 medium (2" dia, 5" long, raw) Sweet potato, cooked, baked in skin, without salt
    1.7 cup Brown Rice, long grain
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    2 clove Garlic
    0.25 tsp McCormick GrillMates Montreal Steak Seasoning

Directions

Soak beans over night, bring to a boil in the water and simmer one hour, cool. Bake the sweet potatos and remove skin and mash. Cook brown rice in chicken broth. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil Mash 1 cup of beans, add sweet potato, mix, add rice and second cup beans, and onion garlic mixture. Add 2 teaspoons Texas Roadhouse seasoning, or more to taste. Measure half cups of mixture and patty about 1 inch thick, bake on parchment paper on cookie sheet in 375 oven 25-39 minutes
