Introduction
I got this delicious recipe from a French lady who had originally had it passed down through the family. It's really yummy and a great low calorie dessert or snack. Ingredients

0.6 cup flour (whole-wheat or white)
1/2 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons low-fat Oil
4 tablespoons non-fat milk
2 medium eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 or 1.5 cups apples
2 tablespoons jam OR teaspoon of cinnamon sugar.
rum (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
1. Peel apple and dice. Leave to one side.
2. Mix flour, sugar, eggs, milk, baking powder together.
3. Add a splash of rum to mix (optional - to taste)
4. Sprinkle some more flour and oil in bottom of cake tin.
5. Put mix in tin.
6. Place apple pieces ontop, covering mixture.
7. Cook for 20-25 mins, leave to cool.
8. Mix 2 heaped tablespoons of jam (any jam you want) with 2 tablespoons of hot water, or until runny.
9. Spread jam ontop of cooled cake. OR mix 1-2 teaspoons of sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle ontop instead of jam.
