Ingredients

1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
1 tsp Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Marsala Wine
1/2 cup Chicken Broth, Light & Fat Free
1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
Tips
If using chicken or pork stick with chicken broth but if using beef you can go ahead and use beef broth instead. If you would like this vegetarian and using tofu or tempeh then use vegetable broth.
Directions
Mix flour and pepper together in a brimmed plate or flat bowl then dredge meat in flour mixture.
Heat a deep skillet over medium heat that is sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, then melt butter, and brown the meat on all sides. Remove once browned and set aside.
Add garlic, wine, broth and mushrooms to the pan. Stir to coat and heat through. Add browned meat back to the pan, cover and simmer for 10 minutes until cooked through, stirring occasionally. Uncover and simmer for 2-3 minutes more until sauce reduces and thickens.
