Introduction
One pot chicken is easy and yummy! One pot chicken is easy and yummy!Number of Servings: 14
Ingredients
-
900 grams Chicken Breast (cooked), no skin, roasted
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 small Onions, raw
3 clove Garlic
1 cup parmesan cheese
3 cup Pasta Sauce (Hunt’s Thick & Rich Roasted Garlic & Herb Tomato Sauce)
8 cup lancia pasta (by CATHIEMACINNIS)
1 to three cups of water
italian seasoning
Directions
Lightly brown chicken breast in olive oil over med hi heat. Add onion and garlic and sautee until aromatic (a minute or two).
Add 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese and pasta sauce with water. Bring to a boil and allow to simmer for about 15 mins.
Add more water as needed to make enough liquid you would normally use to cook pasta. Add a tsp or two of salt if you'd like (not included in cal count) and once back to the boil, add pasta.
Boil, covered for an additional 10 minutes then add parmesan cheese to taste (I add 1/2 cup more but you can add what you'd like -- this recipe accounts for 1/2 cup at this point). Allow to melt and serve.
