Ingredients
-
2 cup Bob’s Red Mill All Purpose Baking Flour (Gluten Free) (by GFERBER)
24 tsp Raw Sugar - Sugar in the Raw
0.3333 tbsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
1 tsp Baking Powder
.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
8 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
2 cups water
Directions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a bowl, and combine flour, sugar, vegetable oil, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
Step 2: Now add the water, salt and vanilla extract to the mix. Stir well for about 5 minutes. Make sure that there are no lumps.
Step 3: Now take a donut mold or a donut tray and spray it with some oil, so that the mixture doesn’t stick. I personally use a tray.
Step 4: Pour your batter into your oiled molds or tray. Let the donuts bake in your preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5: Check them. If the color is golden brown, they're ready.
Step 6: Now to prepare the cream-- In a bowl and combine the almond milk, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sugar.
Step 7: Once the cream is thick and smooth, it's ready. Spread the cream over your slightly cooled donuts.
Feel free to add some chocolate chips or other toppings to give the donuts a fantastic look and flavor. You can store these in the refrigerator for freshness and have them whenever you like. Bon appetite!
