Ingredients

    1 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared
    15 grams Brown Rice, long grain
    1 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
    1 tsp Becel light margerine
    1 clove Garlic
    1 dash Pepper, black

great for a quick winter "grandma's medicine"
of you have no stock, boil some water and dissolve a Knorr-style cube or use 2 tbsp powdered stock


Directions

use some leftover stock- start by heating it,
, heat a small pan, add some water and sautee onions and garlic.Wash the rice and add it. Stir quickly,Add the butter Add the stock tablespoon by tablespoon stirring well.

Boil for 20 min. Again, tbsp by tbsp add the milk and boil for another 10 min. Serve and top with freshly ground black pepper
