Number of Servings: 22

Ingredients

    0.50 tsp Pepper, black
    2 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
    2 cup, diced Celery, raw
    6.50 cup Leeks
    2 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1 cup Parsley
20 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    14.40 oz Pearl Onions
25 serving Cherry Tomatoes, Fresh, 1 Tomato
10 serving Chicken (no skin, 4 oz cooked)
2 serving Mueller Small Sea Shell Pasta (1/2 cup dry)
    2.5 tsp Salt

Directions

Pour 20 cups of water into a large soup pot and add one whole fresh fryer chicken, giblets, pepper and salt and cook for about 2 hours.
Remove chicken from broth and let cool. Skim off some of the liquid fat off the top.
In the mean time cut all veggies and add to broth. Let cook for about 1 hour.
Once the chicken has cooled remove all skin and bones and pull the meat into smaller pieces. If you have a dog give him or her the giblets and you will make his or her day!
Add the chicken pieces to the pot, add 1 cup of mini shell pasta and let it simmer for about 15 more minutes. Let the pot cool for about another 15 minutes and then serve. Bon Appetit!

Note: This recipe is low sodium for people with high blood pressure. Healthy people may want to add more salt and pepper to taste.
