Introduction

Clean out the fridge and make soup! I cooked the ground beef separately and measured 2oz each in glass mason jars. I cooked the veggies together in the slow cooker and then added the rest of the soup to the jars. Freezes well. Clean out the fridge and make soup! Ingredients

    12 oz Ground beef, extra lean (15% fat) pan broiled
    6 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    3.5 serving Pacific Natural Foods Beef Broth, 1 cup ( I 900 ml tetra pack of beef broth)
    3.2 cup Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added ( 1 28 oz/796 ml) can
    5 medium Carrots, raw, chopped
    3 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh (used a bag of "coleslaw")
    1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    1/2 envelope of lipton's onion & roasted garlic soup mix
    Water to cover the veggies
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Broil the meat separately.
Combine the other ingredients in the slow cooker on low for 6 hours or high for 4.

Serving Size: 2 oz of cooked beef and divided the veggies 6 ways. Recipe is calculated on 6 servings.
