Introduction

Slightly sweet, a little bit of heat, and a lot of flavor from the cilantro. It makes a great side dish, and it is also fabulous with fish or shrimp tacos! Ingredients

    1/4 cup 2% milk
    2 Tbsp fat free sour cream
    2 Tbsp Mayonnaise, regular (mayo)
    1 tsp Granulated Sugar
    1 tsp Sriracha Hot Sauce (Rooster sauce)
    1/2 tsp Distilled White Vinegar
    1/8 tsp Salt

    10 oz (by weight, or appx 4 cups) shredded cabbage
    2 green onions, light and dark green only, finely chopped
    1/4 to 1/2 cup (according to taste) Cilantro, raw, chopped

Directions

Combine the mayo, sour cream, milk, vinegar or lime juice, sugar, salt, and sriracha and mix well. Toss with cabbage, cilantro, and green onions. Cover and refrigerate for 3-6 hours.

Serving Size: Makes about four 3/4 cup side servings, or twelve 1/4 cup servings for fish tacos
