Introduction

Ingredients

2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" lon Celery, raw
2 clove Garlic
2 cup Tomato Sauce
4 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
2 tbsp Basil
2 tbsp Oregano, ground
0.5 tsp NoSalt
4 tsp Granulated Sugar
1 tbsp Fennel seed
1 tbsp Butter, salted
2 grams Bay Leaf
Tips
Substitute Salt for NoSalt if not on a dietary restriction.
Substitute artificial Sweetener for sugar for a lower carb version.
Add chili powder for some flare.
Directions
Finely chop the Onion, Garlic and Celery (this must be very fine for sauce use).
In a large skillet, melt butter with the oil.
Add the onion, celery and garlic and saute until soft and transparent.
Add tomato sauce and tomato paste and stir until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to slow simmer.
NOTE: Use two whole bay leafs, you need to remove these when done cooking.
NOTE: DO NOT SKIP THE FENNEL SEED or Celery
Simmer for 30-60 minutes.
Remove the bay leafs.
Serving Size: 1.5 Cups of Final Pizza Sauce for 2 Pizza's for 16 slices
