Introduction

Macaroni and cheese made with cream of chicken soup and skim milk Macaroni and cheese made with cream of chicken soup and skim milk

Ingredients

    1.25 cup Cream of Chicken Soup
    4 serving Great Value Elbow Macaroni Noodles (1/2 c dry)
    2 cup Cheese - Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    4 tbsp Butter, unsalted, divided into 12 pats
    1.25 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
    1 tbsp Salt optional

Directions

Heat oven to 350.

Cook macaroni per box instructions. Once cooked place in pan sprayed with nonstick spray.

Place 12 pats of butter all over macaroni; sprinkle with salt (optional), and set aside.

Cook condensed soup per can instructions but use skim milk instead over low to medium heat setting.

Once soup is heated add 1 1/2 cups of cheese. Stir until cheese melts.

Pour cheese mixture over macaroni and stir.

Place remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top of macaroni and cheese mixture.

Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until cheese browns slightly.



Serving Size: Makes 8 1/2 cup servings
