Ingredients

    1 Trout
    1/2 stick unsalted butter
    2 garlic cloves minced
    5 onion, raw rings
    2 tbls. lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    Foil


Directions

Serves 2 people

Clean trout inside and out salt and pepper
Make a pocket for your fishy out of foil
Melt butter with garlic, then pour inside your fishys cavity
Stick yer onion rings inside too and then yer lemon juice.
Enclose fish in the foil pocket and place on a cookie sheet
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes then open the pocket slightly and bake for 5-8 minutes longer

Yummy! Serve with rice and steamed vegetables.

    We used olive oil instead of butter and a ton of garlic. We also used lemon pepper seasoning. This was amaing! My entire family loved it and we will definitely be adding this to our dinner routine! - 4/5/09

    very tasty recipe - will definately make it again.
    was able to bake simultaneously with roasted vegetables for easy scheduling (brussels sprouts today)
    not sure about the calorie count since the fish portion is not given in ounces (and the fish isn't served swimming in butter)
