Works well with drained, canned diced tomatoes also. In the winter months it is hard to find tomatoes with any flavor. - 12/15/09

  • This was really good. I made it for an appetizer when my friends brought pizza over. I only had dried basil but it worked well enough. I also added a bit of dehydrated minced onion. My friend and I loved it! I just served it more as a dip with crostini for simplicity. I didn't have to use the oven. - 12/14/13
