Ingredients

    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    0.50 tsp Garlic powder
    0.50 tsp Oregano, ground
    0.50 tsp Pepper, black
    0.33 tbsp Basil
    1 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Hot Pepper Sauce
    1 cup Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs, Whole Foods
    1.50 cup Great Value Black Beans
    3 tbsp Onions, dehydrated flakes

Directions

Rinse beans one can of black beans (this will leave about 1.5 cups of beans) and put into a large bowel and mash well with a fork. Add egg, onion, bread crumbs, oregano, basil and garlic and add hot sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to combine. Shape into 6 patties.

Use cooking spray or very small amount of canola or olive oil to fry patties. Cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.

Transfer to buns, top with lettuce, tomato and onions and serve.
