Introduction

I just discovered that I like Brussels sprouts! These are your grandma's nasty boiled sprouts. These are full of flavour and dimension, and they're wonderful. I can't get enough of them!

Note that this recipe is for cooking frozen sprouts without thawing them, making them really easy to prepare.

Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    15 Brussels sprouts, frozen

1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground Black Pepper (or to taste)
Juice of 1 Lemon (or to taste)
2 teaspoons Garlic powder (or to taste)

Directions

Mix together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder (you can add other seasonings, if desired).

Toss the Brussels sprouts in the oil mixture.

Spread sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet (I used glass baking dish), and place in oven preheated to 400F. Bake for 30 minutes.

Cut sprouts in half (cutting through the stem part), then place back on baking sheet, cut side down.

Place under the oven broiler for 5 minutes, or until the outer leaves start to get crisp and a little browned.
