Ingredients

2 lb. beef sirloin tips, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 T olive oil
2 T butter
1 small shallot, minced
2 T Worcestershire sauce
8 oz. cremini mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 cup beef stock
1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions
Season beef with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add the beef to the hot pan and sear both sides until browned. Remove meat from pan and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the pan. Saute the garlic and shallots until tender. Add the mushrooms, cooking until the mushroom liquid has evaporated.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and beef stock. Stir with a rubber spatula, loosening any bits stuck to the pan. Add the cream and mix well.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the sauce has begun to thicken.
Add the beef back to the pan and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
