Introduction

I put this over my vegetable fried rice. I put this over my vegetable fried rice.

Ingredients

    12 ounces boneless beef top sirloin steak or beef tenderloin
    1/2 cup water
    2 tablespoons lower-sodium soy suce
    1 tablespoon molasses
    1 teadspoon dry mustard
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    2 cloves garlic, minced

Directions

Trim fat from beef. Partially freeze meat; thinly slice across the grain into strips about 3 inches long. Place beef strips in a plastic bag set in a deep bowl. For marinade, in a small mixing bowl stir together the water, soy sauce, molasses, dry mustard, ginger and garlic; mix well. Pour over the beef in bag. Seal bag and turn beef to coat well. Marinate meat at room temperature for 15 minutes. Remove beef from bag, reserving marinade. Stir fry in wok or fry pan about 5 minutes or to desired doneness, turning and brushing meat once with marinade.
For serving, spoon over rice. Heat any remaining marinade to boiling. Pour over meat.

    Incredible!
    I didnt have molasses so I used brown sugar blend and cooked with onion mushroom and broccoli topped with green onion and ate it up. My kids loved it great recipe thanks - 8/24/08
