Ingredients

    1 serving Borrelli Roasted Red Peppers (2 peppers)
    4 clove Garlic
    3/4 cup Chicken Broth
    2 tsp Salt
    2 tsp Ground Cumin
    1/2 cup water drained from beans
    3 tbsp Lime Juice
    1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (Ground)
    1 tbsp Tahini
    2.5 cup Chick peas (garbanzo beans), cooked, boiled, without salt

Tips

Substitute more water or low fat milk of choice for chicken broth for vegetarian.


Directions

Cook (8 oz. ) dry chickpeas as per package directions, until tender.

Puree first 9 ingredients thoroughly in a food processor. Add the tender, cooked chick peas and process until smooth. Season to taste.

Serving Size: 3 tablespoons. Makes approx. 18 servings or 3.5 cups per batch.
