Ingredients

    4 medium bananas, mashed
    3/4 cup applesauce
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1 tsp Cinnamon, plus more to sprinkle on top
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    1 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1/2 cup optional mix ins (not included in nutrition) such as chocolate chips, walnuts, pecans, raisins, etc

Directions

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9-by-5 inch loaf pan.
2) In a large bowl, mash the banana, then add the applesauce and beat together with a whisk.
3) Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and vanilla, then whisk to blend.
4) Lastly, switch to a big spoon and stir in the flour, just until combined.
6) Gently fold in mix-ins.
7) Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle with cinnamon. Run the tip of a knife across the batter in a zig-zag pattern.
8) Bake for 65-70 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9) Let the bread cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool for another 20 minutes.
