Introduction

Great for any meal! Not the healthiest thing out there, but it's cheap and you've probably already got most of the ingredients! Great for any meal! Not the healthiest thing out there, but it's cheap and you've probably already got most of the ingredients!
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    2 oz Cream Cheese
    1 tbsp Butter, salted
    3/4 cup Salsa
    3 large Eggs
    3/4 cup dry Grits
    scant 3 cup Water, tap
    3 dash Salt

Directions

Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add salt and dry grits. Cook per directions. (Grits may take 1-30 minutes to cook depending on the style.) Stir in cream cheese and butter. Divvy prepared grits between 3 bowls.

Add salsa to empty grits saucepan and heat on low to medium heat until warmed through. Top each bowl of grits with 1/4 cup of warm salsa.

Grease a frying pan and fry eggs as desired. Top grits and salsa with eggs.

Boom. You're done.
