Ingredients

    3.0 cup diced fresh mushrooms, about 24 oz
    3.0 tbsp Olive Oil
    1.0 tbsp Salt
    0.5 tsp Pepper, black
    3.0 tsp minced Garlic (about 3-4 cloves)
    24.0 oz Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Original, shelf stable
    2.0 tsp Onion powder
    0.25 cup Cornstarch

Directions

Add oil, mushrooms, garlic, salt, and pepper to a large sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until mushrooms have released all their liquid and it has evaporated, about 15 minutes. In a medium bowl, whisk together almond milk, onion powder and cornstarch. Make sure to whisk out any lumps. Add milk mixture to mushrooms and reduce heat to low. Stir till thickened, about 5- 7 minutes. Eat it plain or use it in a casserole in place of the canned stuff.
