Introduction
Another definite "keeper" recipe given to my mom from my Grandma. She made this a couple times a year, usually between Thanksgiving and Christmas when we had my Grandpa's birthday and family holiday events. The sauce makes this spectacular... don't skip it! Ingredients

---Pudding---
1 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups fresh (or thawed frozen) cranberries
1/2 cup molasses
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup boiling water
---Sauce---
1/2 cup salted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup evaporated skim milk (not sweetened condensed)
1/2 tbsp vanilla
Directions
---Pudding---
Preheat oven to 350F, and place a shallow baking pan of water on the bottom rack.
Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder and cranberries.
In another bowl blend together molasses, baking soda and water (mixture will foam substantially).
Pour molasses mixture into the cranberry mix and beat quickly to blend well.
Pour into the loaf pan.
Bake 55 minutes.

In a small saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in sugar and milk, bring to a slow boil.
Cook 5 minutes, remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Serve warm over hot pudding.
