Ingredients

13 oz Butterball Everyday Smoked Turkey Sausage
2 cup Yellow Onion (chopped)
1.5 cup chopped celery
1.5 cup Bell Pepper, Green
1 cup, Carrot slices, raw
.5 tsp Garlic powder
1/4 cup Cholula pepper sauce
3 cup Reduced Sodium red Beans, rinsed and drained
.75 cup Kitchen Basic Vegetable Stock
.5 tsp Pepper, black
.5 cup Parsley
3 cup Brown rice, cooked
2 tbsp (C) Vinegar, Red Wine (Gr Value)
24 oz (8 cups) french cut green beans
Tips
Mix up the toppings to add variety - Great with a chopped green onion, a dollop of fat free sour cream or shredded cheddar on top.
Directions
Brown sausage in a large nonstick skillet.
Add onion, pepper sauce, celery, bell pepper, green beans, carrot, and garlic; cook 5 minutes .
Mash 1/2 cup red beans with a fork.
Combine all the red beans, stock and pepper with the sausage mixture in the skillet.
Simmer 10 minutes or until carrot is crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in the vinegar.
Serve the bean mixture on top of the rice in individual bowls.
