Ingredients

.5 cup, chopped Onions, raw
.5 link, 4/lb Italian Sausage, pork
2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
6 1tsp Canola Oil
0.25 tsp Morton Iodized Salt
1 dash Pepper, black
1 sheet Puff Pastry
3 cup Tomato Sauce
0.5 cup Tomato Paste
6 clove Garlic
.25 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
.25 cup, chopped Carrots, raw
2 slices (6 per 6-oz pkg.) Canadian Bacon
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
1 tbsp Parsley
1 tbsp Oregano, ground
2 tbsp Basil
Directions
Sausage Roll:
1.cut open Italian sausage and chop till its diced small.
2.In a pan, add oil and saute onions then bring in the sausage meat till brown and add salt and pepper. set aside
3.spread out the sheet of puff pastry and add the cooked meat then roll. gently wash the out side of the puff pastry with egg wash and put into oven for 30 minutes 350 F.
Marinara sauce:
1. in another pan, fry the bacon to create oil for the pan, then add onions, celery, carrots and garlic.
2. when the vegetables are starting to be aromatic put in the tomato paste and tomato sauce stir for a while then add in the bay leaf
3. bring the sauce to a simmer and season with Italian seasoning.
4. add in the meat stuffed puff pastry to the tomato sauce and serve.
