Introduction
I was having a craving for a snack one day looked in my cupboards and came up with this recipe. My kids just love it and ask me to make it all the time. Thought I'd share. I was having a craving for a snack one day looked in my cupboards and came up with this recipe. My kids just love it and ask me to make it all the time. Thought I'd share.Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup Rice Dream
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup apple sauce
1 egg
3 tsp splenda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 apple cut into 12 pieces
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven 400
1.Combine all dry ingredients together in a bowl. (leave out ground cinnamon and splenda until step 6.)
2.In a seperate bowl combine all wet ingredients and blueberries.
3.Add wet ingredients to dry mix until moist. (can substitue egg for 2 egg whites)
4.Spoon muffin mix into pan. ( I use cupcake liners)
5. Add 1 apple piece in the middle of the muffin
6. Sprinkle ground cinnamon and splend on top
7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until done.
8. Cool and Enjoy!!!!
