Ingredients

    1 box brownie mix
    1 15oz can black beans
    1 scoop soy protein powder
    1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
    1.5 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Blend the black beans (liquid too) in a blender or magic bullet - make sure it's smooth to cover the evidence :-).
3. in a large bowl, mix the dry brownie mix, the protein powder and cinnamon.
4. Mix in the black beans and apple sauce until smooth*. Pour into 9x9 dish and bake for 30-35 minutes.

*note - if the mix is too thick to pour into the pan on it's own, add in a bit more apple sauce until the mixture is pourable.

sounds weird, though black beans are blah so it probobly doesnt change the flavor tooo much... but try Krusteaz brand brownies... they are fat free.. and you could always add protein and fiber if you wanted...but like i said they are FAT FREE brownies!! and they are delicious..make em all the time. - 1/5/10

    Good
These were different. Will try again with a bit less protein powder...the brand I used overwhelmed. I liked the chewy texture, my kids did not. - 10/12/08
