Introduction

Fry bacon, then crumble. Sauté onions, celery and carrots in grease until tender. Add fennel seeds and garlic and cook on low fit a few minutes. Add broth, potatoes and tomatoes, and salt and pepper to taste. Cool until potatoes are done. Add shrimp and cook for 10 minutes.
