Ingredients

    2-14.5 oz. cans of Kroger petite diced tomatoes
    1-6oz. can Kroger tomato paste
    3 lbs. 80/20 ground beef
    1-4oz. can of Ortega hot diced green chiles
    2 medium onions diced
    2 TBSP worcestershire sauce
    4 TBSP Chili powder
    2 TBSP Cumin seed
    3 tsp Dried Oregano
    2 tsp sea salt
    1 tsp pepper
    2 TBSP minced garlic (I love garlic, you can use less)

Tips

I am going to research other brands and ways to lower the carbs in this dish. This was just a base I through together.


Directions

1) In large pan saute onions with minced garlic until lightly brown.

2) Add ground beef and cook until browned.

3) Toss ground beef mixture into crockpot with all other ingredients and stir to combine.

4) Add water to get the liquid level you like with your chili. I usually add about 3 cups.

5) Place crockpot on low setting and cook all day stirring occasionally. The longer it cooks, the better the flavors will combine. You can put it on high for an hour or so if you need it quicker.


Serving Size: Makes about 12 servings of 1 cup each
