Introduction
Half a turkey burger, half a veggie burger, a whole lot of yummy-ness! Half a turkey burger, half a veggie burger, a whole lot of yummy-ness!Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients

8 oz lean ground turkey
1 cup shredded zucchini ( 1 average sized zucchini )
1 egg (beaten)
1 slice of bread, torn up in little pieces
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper depending on your own taste
1 teaspoon oregano
you can used whatever herbs and spices you want to make this your own flavor. Cumin would be good for a Mexican flavor, or substitute barbecue sauce for the ketchup and add some barbecue seasoning.
Directions
Mix ground turkey and zucchini together in a bowl
add beaten egg, and torn up bread, mix
add all other ingredients and mix
Makes 4 burgers, I used a 1/2 cup measure to make each burger.
These fall apart easily. I made sure the pan was really hot before adding the burgers, and I also didn't mess with them in the pan before they were ready to be flipped. If you are careful, they come out sturdy enough to make a burger with. My picky husband really liked them, and he doesn't like veggies.
