Introduction

Ingredients

1 cup Alullose
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
4 oz Rum- Bacardi Gold
1 tsp Almond Extract
1 tsp peppermint extract
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 tsp Xanthum Gum
Tips
If you want to make the drink sweeter you can use a 1:1 ratio of water to Alullose or can add sweetener drops such as stevia or sucralose.
Directions
-Add water and alullose to a pot of water
-Stir
- Add star anise and cinnamon stick then bring to a boil.
-Lower heat and sprinkle in Xanthum gum or other thickener
-Turn off heat, then add almond and peppermint extract
-Take the pot off the heat and let the spices infuse the syrup

The easiest place to find the Alullose is Target. An even easier way to make it sugar free is to just buy a bottle of sugar free simple syrup. Here's the brand I use : https://www.amazon.com/Torani-Sugar-Free-S
