Number of Servings: 20


    4 chicken breasts (about 8 ounces each) - I used frozen - but thawed is fine also.
    1 can black beans, rinsed
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 can green chili's
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/2 cup (or two packets) taco seasonings


Place all ingredients except taco seasoning into the crockpot. Turn the crockpot to low and cook for 7 hours. Shred the chicken breasts and add the taco seasoning with 1/2 to 1 cup water (don't want it to be too soupy). cook 1 hour longer to meld the flavors. Serve on taco shells with your favorite toppings.

    Very Good
    Tried this recipe for the first time today. Fresh chicken takes little less time to cook and I used 1/3 cup water with one packet of taxi seasoning. This was just for my taste, but otherwise a wonderful recipe. Thanks. - 7/4/11
