Introduction

A garlicky chopped mushroom salad that can be a base for many Russian salads. Try mixing in 4 chopped eggs or your regular egg salad. Ingredients

    .13 cup, finely chopped Onions, raw
    2 clove Garlic fine minced
    2 cup pieces Mushrooms, cooked and minced after cooking
    2 Tbsp. Mayonnaise, regular (mayo)
    2 Tbsp. light sour cream
    Sea Salt to taste
    Black Pepper, freshly ground to taste
    the yield of a wedge , Lemon Juice
    dill to taste optional

Tips

Mushrooms are nicest when cooked in butter. Watch the size of the garlic or you'll end up with too much garlic..unless you love garlic like me. You can spread this on a sandwich, a cracker or mix it into things. In the Ukraine they make it into egg salad which is really yummy.


Directions

Chop all ingredients by hand together, mix in sour cream and mayo and season to taste.
