Introduction
I was wanting to make a curry or dal.. as I've never tried either. Instead I came up with this using ingredients I had. I was wanting to make a curry or dal.. as I've never tried either. Instead I came up with this using ingredients I had.Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients

3.5 cup Lentils, cooked
4 serving Brown rice (1 cup cooked)
4.5 cup Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
2 cup Vegetable Broth
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tsp curry poweder
1 tsp gram marsala
few dashes of paprika
few dashes chili powder
spices arent exact, feel free to sprinkle in extra.
Directions
1. cook the brown rice
2. dice onion
3. heat pan on medium-high, throw in onion and garlic. cook about 5 minutes until onions clear and garlic a little brown
4. add in spices!
5. throw in diced tomatoes with the juice
6. add veggie broth
7. turn to high and boil for 5-10 minutes. let flavors marry.
divide rice into 4 1-cup servings.
top evenly with pot of stuff
