Introduction

Cut all the ingredients into bite size pieces and freeze for 30-60 minutes prior to making this. I use almond meal which is leftover when we make home made almond milk with a juicer-- as fiber, with a. bit of protein and almond flavoring to give this more 'heft' and make it a good meal replacement smoothie. Ingredients

    100 grams Mori-Nu, Tofu, silken, firm
    125 grams Banana, fresh
    0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    0.3 cup Chobani greek yogurt plain whole milk (1cup=227gm)
    2.2 tbsp Ovaltine
    44 grams Pineapple, fresh
    1 oz Peanuts, dry-roasted
    10 cacao beans
    1/2 cup ice
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/3 cup almond meal leftover from making almond milk Or add a few tbsp. chia seeds.
    16 gram Cacao Bean (serving=5beans=8.3g) (by PHYSICIST)

Tips

best to cut ingredients into bite sized pieces and freeze on a plate before making this-- you will get a better consistency and flavor without adding so much ice.


Directions

Freeze all ingredients including the yogurt for 30-60 minutes prior to making this smoothie (except tap water to use to thin and get it to blend).
Add tofu, banana, yogurt, and a bit of water. Blend. Slowly add banana, and the bit of pineapple to sweeten, and add splashes of very. cold water as needed to get it all blended. Add almond meal or chia seeds, blend until smooth. Add cacao beans if you're using thtem and blend. finally, Add in vanilla and ovaltine, then add ice cubes one at a time until you get a milkshake thick consistency. Serve immediately.

Serving Size: makes 3 cups, each serving is 1 cup
