Number of Servings: 8


    1 can (15 oz.) chickpeas, drained
    1 c. red bell peppers (can be from jar)
    4 cloves garlic
    1 T. paprika
    1 lemon, juiced
    4 T. tahini
    Salt and pepper to taste


Place all ingredients in bowl of food processor or blender. Process until smooth. Allow to set in refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.

  • I made a slightly lighter version by omitting the tahini. Different texture, but still great. I also added cumin and cayenne pepper. So easy and yummy, would definitely make again! - 9/8/10
