Introduction
I used to eat canned green beans all the time in college and later when I was doing the Suzanne Somers program I made up this recipe. It's always been a huge hit with my family and friends. I reduced the amount of butter, cream and cheeses now that I'm doing SP and it's still really good. It makes 5- 1/2 c servings. It's kind of like a green bean casserole w/out the mushrooms and crispy onions. Add the drained green beans and stir again. Add the cheeses and stir until all is warm and creamy. Add your salt and pepper to taste.
I like to serve this dish with fish sticks and fruit or grilled chicken or even meatloaf is a great match.
