Introduction
This is great for summer get togethers and SUPER easy! I have another recipe on SP called Steph2003's Cheesecake Fruit Dip. I used that recipe, but instead of serving the fruit on the side I mixed it all together. Oh, and I also tried Vanilla pudding this time, but it just depends on what you like. Ingredients
-
2 cups dried cranberries
10 medium apples, chopped into bite sized pieces
4 cups seedless grapes
1 pkg Kraft Jello-o Brand Fat Free Sugar Free Pudding, (4 Serving box)
1.5 cups skim milk
1 cup Breakstone Fat Free Sour Cream
.5 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tub Cool Whip Free (8oz)
Optional: Chopped Pecans or Almonds, these aren't figured into the nut. info, but I bet they'd be good.
Tip: I also use orange juice or lemon juice mixed with water to soak the chopped apples in for a few minutes before adding to the dip. The acid keeps the apples from turning brown.
Directions
This makes about 6 quarts, or more depending on the size of your apples/grapes. I figured the servings to be approx. 1 cup.
In large bowl ( I use 8qt) combine the pudding, milk, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Fold in cool whip.
Stir in chopped fruit, and serve. Refrigerate leftovers.
