Introduction

Ingredients

    Leeks, 3 leek (remove)
    *Potato, raw, 3 cup diced (remove)
    Milk, 1%, 1 cup (remove)
    Marjoram, dried, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Hormel Bacon Bits, 4 tbsp (remove)
    Butter, salted, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Salt, 2 tsp (remove)
    *Campbell's low sodium chicken broth, 1 cup (remove)

Directions

chop white and light green parts of leeks and sautee in butter until translucent. Add broth and potatoes. Boil until potatoes are soft. Add milk and spices, remove 1 litre of mixture to blender and blend until smooth. Return to pot, add bacon bits (if desired) and simmer. Season to taste.

Delicious and low in fat... but watch the sodium. Using sodium reduced broth saves about 500mg sodium per serving!
