Ingredients

1 whole salmon - cleaned with head removed
1 white onion slicecd into rings
    1 or 2 lemons - sliced

Directions

Soak the salmon in cold water for a couple of minutes then drain and pat dry.

Cut a piece of tin foil long enough to place the fish on and still be able to fold ends.

Layer onion rings and lemon slices on top of the fish. Wrap the tinfoil over the salmon and fold over all edges to seal. Place this tinfoil package onto another sheet of tin foil and wrap again.

Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for approximately 1 hour (15 to 18 minutes per pound).

This recipe works equally well as is or you can stuff the salmon with rice or a stuffing mix.

A large fish will make approximately 6 servings.
