Ingredients

    1 Tbsp oil
    Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 8 oz
    Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 5 clove
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 2 cup, strips
    Jalapeno Peppers, 1 pepper
    Yellow Peppers (bell peppers), 1 pepper, large
    Baby Carrots, raw, 15 medium
    Beans, red kidney, 4 cup (14.5oz can, drained)
    Whole Canned Tomatoes, 1 can
    Tomato Sauce, 2 cup
    Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 4 cup
    *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp (
    Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, 2 tbsp
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp
    Chili powder, 1 tbsp
    Bob's Red Mill Cracked Wheat (dry), 1 cup

Directions

Brown turkey with onions, garlic and oil in a large pot.

Chop peppers and carrots. Add to pot along with the other ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer for at least 45 min.

Works well in a crock pot, but make sure you brown the meat first.
