Introduction

Tastes a lot like turkey dressing. If used as a dressing could serve four to five people. Tastes a lot like turkey dressing. If used as a dressing could serve four to five people.

Ingredients

    3 oz. ground beef, lean
    1/2 c. onion or 2 T. dry onion flakes
    1 cup sliced portabella mushrooms
    1 c. cool cooked oatmeal (leftovers) chopped
    1 cube beef bouillon or 1 teas. granules
    1 oz dry sherry
    1 clove garlic or 1/4 t. garlic powder
    1 teas. ground sage
    1/2 teas. black pepper




Directions

Brown ground beef, then add onion and mushrooms, and cook until onions are transluscent. Add 1 c. cool oatmeal, chopped into smaller pieces. Heat and stir until blended. Add bouillon, sherry, garlic, sage, and black pepper. Heat and stir until hot and well blended. Looks and tastes like Thanksgiving dressing. Can use Turkey instead of beef and chicken bouillon.
