Introduction
I love PB and chocolate. To loose weight and gain muscle I need less sugar and more protein and fiber, so I created these post-workout cookies. Easy to make and much less expensive than protein bars! Ingredients
-
1 Cp Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
8 TBS Powdered Egg Whites
4 TBS Peanut Butter
3 TBS honey
2 TBS Hersheys Special Dark Chocolate Chips
Directions
In a bowl mix the oats and powdered egg whites.
In a small saucepan , melt the peanut butter and honey. Add the melted peanut butter to the dry ingredients and mix well. Divide the dough into 6 portions and flatten into cookie shape. When they have cooled off a bit, move them to a cooling rack. In a small saucepan (I use the same pan), melt the chocolate chips. Spread the melted chocolate on the cookies. Cool completely. Makes 6 awesome protein cookies with similiar nutrition to a commercial protein bar.
