Ingredients

    1 1/4 c flour , 1 tsp baking soda , 1/2 tsp salt, 1 c butter, 3/4 C sugar, 2 eggs,
    3/4 C packed brown sugar,
    1 tsp vanilla extract, 3 Cup quick oats,
    11 oz package of hershey's semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven 375 degrees
put butter, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and sugars and beat well in mixing bowl, add flour, mix, add oats then add chocolate chips.

Drop by tablespoon onto baking stone or sheet
bake for 7-8 minutes take out of oven and cool on cooling rack YUM
makes 51 cookies

    Wow! I also used whole-wheat flour with mine. I just took some out of the oven and finished one. They are delicious. I better not eat them all! haha - 1/22/09

    Great cookies. I just had my son and his friend make them for a project for school. Easy peasy. I assume the serving size is "one" cookie? - 2/26/09

    WOW! My husband, 2 yr old and I love this cookie. I made it with the wrong oats ( not instant)...I should have added another egg :P. These will be a regular in our home! Thanks for the great recipe!
    Addition: I made these cookies again (the right way) and froze some of the batter, YUM!
