Introduction

Weigh & Measure everything for correct portion control. Can keep in refrigerator most of the week, or freeze, or prepare with a "Do Ahead" recipe. Need scales & measuring cup & spoons.
My experience: 16 oz box/dry will make 8 [4 oz] servings. Some might make more servings. So weigh it.

Ingredients

16 oz Box of Angel Hair Enriched Pasta
    1 gallon of water
    2 tablespoons of Canola Oil.

Directions

Prepare pasta in boiling water per package directions. Usually 7 minutes, or slightly less since using in another recipe. Turn off heat.
Drain in colander. [Some recipe's call for saving some of the starchy water for a sauce.]
Measure 2 tablespoons of Canola oil into the bottom of the pot used to boil the pasta [no heat].
Return drained pasta. Use tongs or other utensil to turn the pasta until all is coated with the oil. To prevent excess oil on the pasta at the bottom, return the pasta to the colander and sit on top of the pot to allow any excess oil to drain off.

Measure into choice of containers to store in either portion sizes, or family sized with correct portions. 4 oz may = 1 cup. I prefer to weigh.

I measure 1 or 2 servings into sandwich size zip-lock bags. Label. If not using right away, freeze. Thaw to add to any recipe. Only need to warm. I add to other Make Ahead recipes.
